Lawrence Park Disc Golf Course
The town of South Windsor's Parks and Recreation department was looking to revitalize one of their parks that had been previously underutilized by the community. With the rise of disc golf's popularity and the development of courses in neighboring towns, South Windsor Parks and Rec decided to develop a course at their Lawrence Park site. I reached out with a concept for how to approach the signage for this course, and was awarded the opportunity to map out the course alongside the course designer and Parks and Rec Assistant Director.

My role in this project was to design and map out each hole of this course that utilized 9 holes in an A/B format to achieve a total of 18 playable layouts. I used a DJI drone to get an aerial view of the layout of the course, and then I received marked up printouts from the course designer with recommended flight paths. From those printouts I was able to build the map layouts in Illustrator using a simplified color palette and basic shapes to improve visual clarity for players.
